Today on our 2016 Kia Sedona, we'll be taking a look at and installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56151. The first thing we're going to do on our vehicle is locate the manufacturer tow package, and that's going to be underneath the driver's side rear section, right behind that rear fender wall on the driver's side. It's going to be right here. You're going to have two plugs that are going to have caps over the top of them and we're going to need to remove those caps. Go ahead and press the tabs together and pull out. You're going to have the tab here on the side that you just need to press in so you can remove it. We'll set it off to the side, since it won't be going back on. more

Once you have the rear hatch open, locate the tail light assemblies. They're going to be the same on the driver and the passenger side. With three Phillips head screws that we're going to need to remove to pull out the tail light assembly and locate the manufacture wiring harness. more

Today on our 2006 Kia Sedona, we'll be installing the Curt T-Connector 4-Pole Trailer Connection, part number C55503. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear hatch. This will expose the three screws on each side to remove the taillight assemblies. We'll go ahead and remove those screws, and then pop the taillight assemblies out. Next, we'll locate the manufacturer's wiring harness that comes into the taillight assembly. Press on the locking tab for the connector and remove it from the taillight socket. more

Today, on this 2005 Kia Sedona, we're going to install part number 118309. This is a T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole Flat Trailer Connector. The first thing we need to do is go ahead and open the back hatch and we'll go ahead and loosen up the tail light. Now, to take off our driver's side tail light, we'll go ahead and remove these two screws here using a number two Philips screwdriver. To get them unattached, we'll put them back in a place temporarily while we'll go ahead and remove the rest of the our panels. We can have a slack so we can move the wire around to have easier access on the inside. more

Today, on this 2006 Kia Sedona, we're going to install Part Number 118410 from Tow Ready. This is our T-One Wiring Harness. To start off our install, we're going to open up the back hatch and then we're going to remove the tail lights. There's three screws in each side and then we can go ahead and remove the tail light by pulling it off to the side. We'll hold the tail lights, so we can see the mounting points on the side, but you can see how the tail lights attach to the vehicle. To disconnect the wire harness, there's a small tab on the wire harness that we push down to release it then we can go ahead and pull it apart. more

Today, on this 2012 Kia Sedona, we're going to install part number 118410 from Tow Ready. First thing we need to do is go ahead and open the tail gate and get access to the tail lights to remove both of them. They'll be three screws in each light, so to remove the tail light you will pry the light away from the vehicle. We'll disconnect the wire harness from the tail light. There will be a small tab that you have to push down and then we can go ahead and release the light from the wire harness. Next, we will go ahead and take the four pole wire and run it down between the bumper cover and the body of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Kia Sedona well be installing part #: 118410 from Tow Ready, the T1 vehicle wiring harness. Well start by removing our taillights. We have three fasteners to remove. To remove our taillight wiring harness well push down this tab right here, we can pull it apart. Were going to take our purple wire and put it between the bumper and the body and run it all the way out towards the bottom. Now there are some supports in there that you have to work it around so it may take some practice. more

Today on this 2008 Kia Sedona we are going to install part number 118410 from Tow Ready. The first steps involved is get into the back of the vehicle, pull up the hatch, and then get to the fasteners that hold the tail lights in place. We have got three fasteners to remove and then pop the light off. Now we will disconnect the tail lights from the wire harness. Push down this little tab and this connector will come apart. Now we will go over to the passenger side of the vehicle and do the same thing one more time. 00:36 more
